Meet Mark Caron – Owner, Green Source Landscape

When Mark is on site and working, it is easy to see he is completely in his element. Proof of his natural talent and skill lie in how quickly the work progresses and his attention to details. Mark possesses a keen eye for design and a gift for blending plants, trees and topography into pleasing, livable arrangements. He instinctively arrives at the ideal solution for his clients and they tend to bring him back year after year.

Mark has been in landscaping all of his life, including launching professional a lawn mowing service as teen and continuing it through college. He majored in Ornamental Horticulture at the University of Delaware in Newark, from 1990 to 1994. He was then hired as a landscaper at Irwin Landscape in Delaware. He moved to Denver Colorado in 1999, where he worked as a manager of Affordable Landscaping. A company which installed custom residential landscapes, complete with irrigation systems. In 2006 Mark moved to the Portland metro area. He established Green Source Landscape LLC in 2009.

We are a small company, so one of the benefits is that we only do one job at a time, And we stay on one project until it is completed.

Can you provide a drawing of your plans?

For larger projects, we provide a landscape plan so the client knows what to expect.

What is your guarantee?

Generally the warranty is for one year from the completion date and covers the labor and materials. Clients can purchase an extended warranty if they choose. The plant warranty is dependent on having an irrigation system, so we usually work with the client to provide assurance that their landscape will be protected.
